Excellent for the price, but with some minor problems. An excellent machine at a very low price. After hours of scouring Amazon for good gaming computers at low cost, I have not been able to find anything that offers this level of performance for less than $700. Everything else at the Skytech Shadow’s price point has an inferior graphics card, and everything with comparable specifications costs at least $100 more. I don’t have a lot of very new games for PC, but I have been able to run things like War Thunder, World of Warships, Crysis 2, and Skyrim at high settings with impressive frame rates. The reason I am giving it a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is the coil whine generated by the admittedly low quality power supply. Since the motherboard seems to be unshielded from electronic interference, the whine is audible through the headphone jack. This can be mostly solved by getting a cheap external USB sound adapter, and the whine becomes pretty much unnoticeable during gameplay. It’s a bit annoying, though, to have to get an extra piece…
