Good performance, an excellent display, and exceptional battery life About a year and a half ago, I bought a Lenovo IdeaTab A1000L-F 7″ Android tablet. I was not overly impressed with it, since it was fairly slow and nothing about it really stood out. Also it was running Android 4.1.2, and Lenovo has never updated the OS. So I had minimal expectations for the Lenovo Tab 2 A7 Android tablet. However, after putting the tablet through its paces, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the A7.In the past year or so, there has been a proliferation of 7″ Android tablets in the $50-$100 price range. I’ve reviewed a number of these tablets, which varied from surprisingly good to abysmal. Weighing 8.9 ounces and with dimensions of 7.5″x4.1″x0.35″, the A7 is comparable in size to other 7″ tablets that I’ve used, and the overall performance is very acceptable for a low-cost tablet. Ergonomically, the power button and volume control are on the right side of the tablet, with the USB charging port and 3.5mm audio port being…

Nice entry level tablet This is a very basic tablet. It is small, lightweight, and simply practical. It uses the same operation system that my old smartphone so I know that although is a little old, it works. It has 8GB storage capacity and after operation system and a few basics, the available memory is only 5GB. My first suggestion is to get a SD card and give it more capacity. It has the ability to handle both, micro SD card or regular. So there is plenty of room to grow in that area – nice!Battery is really good. I have a whole day of usage without having to worry about dying in the middle of something. I also left it idle for 24 hrs only to see the percentage of battery 4% less than what it was when I touched it last. The tablet didn’t drain quickly after I started using it.Screen is quite decent. Nice definition and clarity. Camera in the other hand, not so good. It’s only 2MP. Most phones have much higher quality. But precisely given the fact…

Overall the best entry level tablet! I am very impressed by this tablet! As a matter of fact, I am writing this review from the tablet itself! Lenovo did a very good job in their new line of Tabs, this being the Tab 2 7 inch. The only reason why I am pulling off one star is because of a few minor issues. The pros of this tablet is the performance. I wasn’t expecting too much out of this tablet, but it gave a lot more than I first thought. The Wi-Fi is superb! I had a Coby tablet that ran on android jellybean 4.0 and its Wi-Fi was nothing compared to this! I am writing this in the worst place of my house with one bar, while the Coby had none, and forced me to go almost next to the router. The processor in this tablet really seems powerful for a small tablet! Pages and apps load extremely fast and even though I am not a heavy gamer, games still run very smooth. Multitasking is easy and simple thanks to the android kit Kat OS. The screen is very responsive and the tablet doesn’t feel very cheap. Music is almost…
