this is a very good HDTV despite the low price of $900 (Costco Rest assured, this is a very good HDTV despite the low price of $900 (Costco, and elsewhere). It is selling well at Costco. The JVC brand HDTV is licensed to AmTRAN, a Taiwan based company. This is a 65″ LED backlit (not edge lit) LCD with overall very good picture quality, a bundled Roku Streaming Stick providing “Smart” video streaming functions, and basic everyday controls. great bargain tv Update after 2 months:I had a dead pixel. I called JVC and they were very helpful. I sent them a photo of the dead pixel and they sent me a replacement TV within 2 weeks. I had a chance to return it to Costco for a different TV, but I didn’t because it remains a great bargain.==============================I’m writing this to help non-tv people like me. If you have a) a lot of money to spend or b) a lot of experience with home theater stuff, this review won’t really add muchWeek 1:I had a really hard time buying this TV. It was on sale at Costco for $699, and I had to figure out why it was so cheap. That, and the…
