LG Electronics 32LF5600 32-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED TV
very energy efficient ! I bought this TV (2015 model) at Target recently, and it has been working well. It only weighs about 20 pounds, so it was easy to carry and to assemble (two legs). The TV was all set after connecting some media boxes and cable and took only about 10 minute. This is a 2015 model, and the design has not changed much from last year’s model, but I really like the design. The thin and metallic look bezel (still plastic) is trendy and simple; all thick black bezel looks like a thing of the past. The 2.2 inches of thiness is about half of the thickness from my 55″ sammy LED TV, and it makes easy and elegant to hang on the wall. FYI, if one wanted to wall mount, this TV has vesa 400 x 400 mm and comes with a pair of wall mount space for the upper holes. The factory default color setting was quite good; I did not have to adjust anything to calibrate the colors and what not. This is my third LED TV from LG (various sizes and models I’ve purchased in the past several…
Does NOT work with most wall mounts including the one advertised with on listing!! UPDATE: For those of you in the comments that suggested I ordered a previous year’s model, or that I was incorrect, here is the evidence. Look at the photos I posted with this review – you will clearly see that you cannot mount install the mounting hardware and plug in the power cord. Second, the model # on the back of the TV I purchased from Amazon (see “Verified Purchase” on my review) shows 42LF5600 on the photo I took. It also shows a manufacture date of March 2015. Simply put, this exact television – the 24″ LG 42LF5600 – will not work with the most popular mounting hardware kit it is most often advertised with. And it will most likely not work with the majority of other mounting kits, because many of the inputs, including power, are on the back of the TV in between the mounting screws.——————————–The LG 42LF5600 was advertised as being sold most often with the VideoSecu ML531BE TV Wall Mount. They were even advertised…
Good picture and great sound. Stupid “feet” stands. I bought this TV on a bit of an impulse. I needed a TV for my apartment, and was tired of looking. This was at the store, was the right size, looked good, had good reviews, and so I bought it.Overall I am very pleased. The sound is excellent, much better than I had expected; in fact, I won’t be buying any external speakers now. This is definitely my favorite aspect of the panel. The picture quality is respectable, but not as rich in color or contrast as some competitors. With some adjustments I’ve been able to get it more to my liking. Now for the bad. There aren’t many ports and connections, and they are somewhat awkwardly placed. If you’re using a mount, this problem is amplified. I bought a separate stand (more on this in a bit), and with the mounting brackets attached, the coaxial port is blocked. I managed to attach the cable through a hole in the mount, but it is still bent very awkwardly and probably won’t last long like that.Which brings me…
