This review ( What’s this )
review is from: Samsung SE -506BB/TSBD 6X USB 2.0 External Slim Blu-ray Writer Drive (Black) (Personal Computers)

I just wanted to figure out an easy way to Blu-ray discs on my PC will first play as buying a generic blu-ray player from Amazon for about $ 50. Then I realized that for another ~ $ 50, I might have a way to copy all of my family photos and videos to Blu-ray discs. I use Carbonite and an external hard drive for backups daily, but I can the Blu-ray discs placed in a fireproof box and forget about it. The 506BA model got a good overview of a large PC Magazine, so I thought 506BB newer version might as well be. The drive is very compact and lightweight. The housing is made of plastic. It seems a little fragile – if you accidentally kick it I have no doubt is to crack the case and the drive will be destroyed. But not many people tend to go blu-ray drives, so it’s probably not a problem. The drive is very quiet – not even hear, with blu-ray video playback. The size and weight is such that I just put this. In a laptop bag and take it on the road with me Trial to play blu-ray software packages, and other media related things have been included with the drive, but I did not use them. Instead, I installed the free version of DVDFab Passkey 8 and VSO Media Player, named as Bman by another reviewer suggested, and I watch the blu-ray discs from Netflix without a problem. I am happy with this purchase, though at ~ $ 97 more expensive than what I initially thought I wanted it.

I bought this to start ripping Blu-ray discs that I own in iTunes Movies. The drive works great, if you use the right software, MakeMKV and Handbrake. Another pro about the drive it only requires 1 USB 2.0 port.

This review ( What is it )

class=”tiny” style=”margin-bottom:0.5em;”> review is from: Samsung SE-506BB/TSBD 6X USB2 .0 External Slim Blu-ray Writer Drive (Black) (Personal Computers) This product installs easily and burns hard drives quickly and easily. The next thing is a problem that requires a USB slot on the computer instead of expanding hub. This situation may not be a function of the drive, but the extremely buggy and flimsy Toast Titanium software I bought wrongly author Blu-Ray discs. I want to know more after I try to build a Blu-ray directly from FCP X.
