5.0 out of 5 stars top of the class at all (cheap) micro-SDHC cards that I tested , 26th September 2012

I have tested dozens of SD and micro SDHC cards. A disturbing trend I have noticed that the speed class rating for micro-SDHC typically inflated. For example, a “class-10-rating means must deliver the card has a sequential write speed of at least 10MB / s. But somehow is a Class 10 microSDHC cards always slower than a Class 10 SDHC card from the same manufacturer. Case in point: the PNY claims to be 32 GB microSDHC Card (P-SDU32G10 EFS2) ‘class-10’, but it can only 8.6MB / s write maximum, while the Full-size PNY P-SDHC16G10 reached 13.4MB / s v3.01 for CrystalDiskMark.
This SanDisk 32 GB microSDHC Class 10-card (SDSDQUA-032G-U46A) proves to be, however, be the exception. It reaches a sequential write speed of about 10MB / s on two different benchmark programs (11.8MB / s in “CrystalDiskMark”, 10.6MB / s. in “H2testw v1.4”). This is faster than any of my other microSDHC cards, including two “class-10 ‘card from PNY and Polaroid
A closer look at the file transfer of “Flash Memory Toolkit” revealed another nice surprise: for writing small files, this Sandisk microSDHC card performed just as their original size counterpart, the SanDisk Ultra SDHC (SDSDU-032G-AFFP) . In contrast, all of my other class-10 microSDHC cards perform poorly when writing small files. The benchmark results see I uploaded ‘Customer Images’ for details.
If you use a memory card in your digital camera to capture HD video, it needs to store a large video file each session. This means that its sequential write speed is most critical. When used in a tablet or a mobile phone used, but the map random write speeds for small files important. That’s why in such applications the Sandisk microSDHC is faster than the PNY and Polaroid cards perform, although they also called “class-10 ‘rated.
[Bottom Line]
From this scripture, the Sandisk . Ultra microSDHC card ia actually priced lower than other Class 10 cards from PNY and the Polaroid This Sandisk makes the best price -. Especially if you need honest class-10 performance on all platforms
[Side Notes]
– Do not confuse this with Sandisk Ultra card SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC (SDSDQY-032G-U46A) .. The latter is for the class-6 rated only
– The size of this ’32GB ‘card is 29.7GB translates to my computer. This is actually normal, because computer people include a gig as “2 raised to 30”, which is 7.3% more than a billion. This 29.7GB 31.9 . billion bytes, which is ’32GB ‘according to marketing people

At first, recognized when I plugged the card into the Samsung Galaxy S3, but it was not able to format it correctly. After some research, I found a free program EASEUS Partition Master […] that is the card is formatted in FAT 32, because Windows does not you can do it by default. After formatting in fat 32, the phone can not recognize the card and it works great now. I hope this helps anyone who might encounter this problem.

This review ( What is it )

Works fine with my Galaxy S3. Did not need to format the card or something. Just popped the card, and everything worked great out of the box. Transfer rates are excellent with this card. I would recommend this card to anyone.
