Think Bigger.

The Acer Chromebook 15 is the World’s first Chromebook with a 15.6-inch HD display. It is also the first Chromebook featuring the latest Intel processor based on Broadwell micro-architecture and it uses the new dual-band 802.11ac wireless technology. It all adds up to the right mix of features to make you think bigger and reimagine what’s possible with a Chromebook.

See More, Do More.

With a 45% larger screen area than the 11.6″ Chromebook, and a 27% larger screen area than the 13.3″ Chromebook means more content can be shown with less scrolling and productivity tools such as Excel are easier to interact with. In short, it’s just the right size for you to make this Chromebook your “everything” book.

The Acer Chromebook 15 brings videos and games to the next level with a stunning large-scale display. The display is bright and crisp with a 1366 x 768 HD resolution display making it easy to share content easily with those around you. And with its high-dynamic-range imaging (HDR) web cam enjoy a better experience with Google Hangouts in HD and feel closer to family and friends with crystal clear high resolution video chats.

Experience your entertainment in all of its glory. Two full-sized upward facing speakers bring movies to life, give songs more depth and make games more engaging and immersive.

Incredibly Fast.

Powered by the latest Intel processor based on Broadwell micro-architecture, the Acer Chromebook 15 blows away anything you’ve seen before. Thanks to that, and the solid-state drive, the Acer Chromebook 15 fully boots up in just 7 seconds and smoothly powers through tough tasks and provides quick access to stored files, movies, songs and photos.

Equipped with the latest 802.11AC wireless featuring MIMO technology, experience up to 3x faster performance when your Chromebook is connected to an 802.11ac based router making everything from online gaming to streaming video both faster and more reliable.

With a long 9 hours of battery life, the Chromebook 15 keeps the full Chrome OS experience at your fingertips. With more battery life and mobility than competitors, you can extend your productivity and enjoy life on-the-go.

The Right Feel.

The Acer Chromebook 15 is big enough and fast enough for all-day use, so it’s also been designed to withstand heavy daily use and feel great all day. The durable surface provides a premium feel while the anti-glare display doesn’t strain the eyes after long hours of use. It’s a Chromebook that looks and feels great on your desk, on your lap, or on the go.

The Chromebook 15 is one of the slimmest Chromebooks on the market. Its ultra-thin HD 15.6″ frame makes it easy to slip into a purse, backpack or brief case and take along with you. The touchpad — the largest of any Chromebook — provides plenty of room to scroll and gesture freely and effortlessly.

Detailed Review of the Acer Chromebook 15! *** INTRO ***The Chromebook 15 is a HUGE jump from the previous Acer Chromebook offerings, even from the Chromebook 13 which was just released less than 6 months ago! I’m going to go into details below but here is the super quick summary:PROS:* This Chromebook is big which has pros and cons although I’m absolutely loving the big screen.* The processor is lightening fast (so glad they ditched the Tegra K-1 processor and went back to Intel.)* There is absolutely no lag with the 4 GB RAM version.* The screen is FINALLY nice and clear, bright, and vibrant, especially being a matte, anti-glare screen. It is much brighter than your standard matte screen and the viewing angle is literally almost 180 degrees while still getting good colors, brightness, and readability.* The keyboard is more natural feeling and the track pad is bigger and easier to use.*The speakers are right on top of the keyboard and the sound is better than I’ve heard on…

I absolutely love my new chromebook! I absolutely love this Chromebook. I will start by saying that this was a replacement for my MacBook Pro, which was going on 5 years old (it was ancient, I know). I have never owned a Chromebook and haven’t played around with any. I am a grad student, so the price point is what steered me toward Chromebooks. The main criteria I was looking for in a Chromebook was a processor that can hold up under my heavy multitasking (having 10 tabs open, 2 word documents worked on, and 5 pdfs up, while listening to music), a keyboard and track pad that is sturdy and adequately sized for heavy used, and a decent screen so my eyes aren’t sore from working on it all day and at night it’s good enough to watch some videos on. Portability wasn’t top of my list of criteria – any laptop device is going to have some degree of portability.I was torn between the Toshiba Chromebook 2, and this Acer. I went with the Acer, and I am so glad I did. The speakers are amazing. Such a full bodied…

Almost great. My thoughts on acer chromebook 15. I got the IPS HD model.I have a acer C720 and had acer chromebook 13. I returned the chromebook 13 because of the screen. Screen on the 13 was pretty bad. Even with the 1080P it was not good. I like the C720 and I still use it. My son is using the C720 more and more now a days so I bought the acer chromebook 15. I was thinking about going with the Toshiba Chromebook 2 with IPS screen but People were saying that the processor could be better. I also like the fact that this one has a 15.6 vs. 13.3 screen. Here are the Pros:-good screen (not great) better color and clarity than the chromebook 13 but not as good as Toshiba chromebook 2.-Great processor. Much faster than the tegra K1.-battery is good.-good ram size and storage for the money (4GB ram. 32GB storage)-sound is good.Cons:-bulky-don’t really like the white ( will get dirty)-Screen could be crisper but maybe the matte finish…
