When you’re relying heavily on the keyboard — drafting documents or working on a spreadsheet, for example — keep your Flex 15 in the classic laptop mode for maximum productivity. The Flex 15’s unique design means it adapts to whatever you choose to do.

10-Point Multitouch Display

Interact with your Flex 15 by using simple, intuitive gestures directly on the 15.6″ 10-point multitouch display — optimized for Windows 8. With up to 5 hours battery life between charges, the Flex 15 is an ideal companion for users on the go. Lenovo Energy Management protects the long-term durability of the battery and uses advanced energy-saving technology to increase time spent between charges.

Less than 1″ Thick; Weighs Only 5 Pounds

Thin and light laptops usually bear a hefty price tag, but the affordable Flex 15 is only 0.87″ thick and weighs in at just 5.1 lbs. It’s perfect for the mobile user who needs the dual-mode functionality.

AccuType Keyboard

The acclaimed AccuType keyboard is ergonomically designed to make typing more comfortable and to reduce errors.

Stereo Speakers With Dolby Advanced Audio

The Flex 15’s speakers deliver rich stereo sound, while Dolby Advanced Audio provides an immersive audio experience, enhances audio quality, and reduces distortion. Optimized for Windows 8, the intuitive, easy-to-use touchpad features simple scroll, zoom, and rotate functions. You can toggle the Charm bar or app bar, or switch among
applications by edge swipe on the touchpad. With OneKey Recovery, bouncing back from technical difficulties is a snap. The Flex 15 also makes data backup and recovery a snap

Something new I fell in love with this laptop, from the first moment I saw it, this IdeaPad has a nice design and offers great power in a nice package. The screen tilts all the way back, using the keyboard as the base. Excellent for watching videos or simply using it as a touchscreen pc. Kind of reminds me of an All-In-One PC incredibly thin, under 0.9 inches tall with the lid closed. As an UltraBook it must meet the performance specifications from intel, those are if you don’t know them:* Ultra Responsive (Good CPU + GPU)* Screen sharing (Wireless Display, touchscreen)* Natural Interactions (Voice Control)* Instantly Available (wake in under 3sec)* Battery Life – At least 7 days standby mode – At least 8 hrs with Windows 8 in idle mode – At least 6 hrs with HD Video Playback* Thin and stylishSo, if there’s the word ultrabook in the title you know its good and complies with…

Among my favorite apps is the news app (which pulls news reports from many different publications and is highly customizable to your preferences) and the finance app (where you can read financial news, get stock quotes, and view your online trading accounts) *note that my laptop came pre-loaded with windows 8, which has many of the same features, but the 8.1 update was free and took maybe 10 minutes to install.Being able to run 2 applications at once in…
