Great everyday TV for most people! This is a nice set for the money. First you need to pair your remote to the TV. You can do this by setting the TV (plugging in/powering on) up first then putting in the batteries for the remote and it will auto-connect. If you (like me) place the batteries in before you set the TV up then you can sync them by pressing return and play/pause buttons for 3 seconds. You then pair all of your devices so that your remote works with them, however, I find that I prefer my X1 remote since I can use page up/down, sports app, recordings ect. It’s just more convenient VS. the Samsung remote.Best settings for me: Picture Mode: Natural, Sound Mode: Movie, Picture Size 16:9 StandardPicture settings under expert settings:Blacklight- 20Brightness- 45Contrast- 95Sharpness- 45Color- 52Tint- 50Dig Clean View- AutoAuto Motion Plus- AutoDynamic Contrast- MedColor Tone- StandardSound settings need to be adjusted…
Outstanding TV
Love this TV! I’m and independent film maker. When i set out to find a home television i had very specific needs. 1st was price. You can get wonderful image and quality at crazy prices. But im not going to spend $3,000 on a tv that will be obsolete in 4 years. I wanted value, sharp image, good refresh rate, true color, ease of use and something that was bot the size of a minivan in my apt. This tv is really impressive. I have trusted Samsung for years and it looks like they didn’t disappoint again. At 40″ its plenty of screen for my nyc 1 bedroom apartment. The tv was very light. I mounted it myself and it was replacing my old LED 32″ samsung.Build is sturdy and sufficient. When i turned on the TV the set up was soooooo simple. The universal remote is a JOY. So easy to connect everything. The wireless built in was a snap and since i am someone who cut the cable from time warner it was awesome to see HBONOW preloaded, Amazon, and Netflix. I have all three and used to…
