4K Ultra HD LED TV quadruples the pixel resolution of the standard HD. 4K Ultra HD is four times the pixel resolution of Full HD 1080p. Full HD has 2 million dots, or pixels (1920 X 1080 – this means 1920 pixels wide & 1080 pixels tall). 4K has 8 million pixels (3840 wide & 2160 tall). So for every pixel on a full HD TV, there are four smaller pixels on a 4K TV. With four times more pixels, even the smallest details in a picture are visible.
Sharp’s propriety built-in Revelation 4K Upscaler creates a 4K (3840 X 2160) signal from any source, making the picture clearer and sharper, with more depth.

See what you’ve been missing Have had the TV for a week now. I have viewed satellite HD feed, . Blu-ray 1020p discs ,and youtube 4k video clips. The built-in line-doubler works amazingly well, visibly better that the 4K doubler that my home theater system provides ( anthem mrx710) Color depth and saturation is amazing as well. My only nit-pick is that I would have liked local full-array dimming as compared to the edge lit system. This TV comes with a matte screen, which I prefer, since most of the time I view in a lighted…

The problem was Sharp had bought the Elite technology from Pioneer after they decided to get out of the TV business. This meant I had to go through Sharp for a fix. Since the Elite had a…
