the material in no way resembles the picture as it is not cotton or felt like at all On the one hand this is made of extremely cheap stuff. As others have said, the material in no way resembles the picture as it is not cotton or felt like at all. Instead it is a cheap polyester. The face mask is pretty horrible as it is a plastic plate with the lights wired in. Ours came in with a dead battery and didn’t work. It had a sticker that said – you cannot replace the battery. When I ripped the plastic face mask out I saw that you could cut into the plastic and replace it if you really needed to. But I was ripping it out anyway as we have these glasses with red laser eyes to use anyway which worked great (they were from a nurf toy where you can shine your laser eyes on a ball and see it in the dark and they worked perfectly). I also altered the face part so at school he could take the black screen and put it behind his head as masks are not allowed at school. For Halloween I quickly stitched it back down. No biggie.Know that you may have to stitch parts…
