    I have a predecessor to this unit, model GLHS36EESB0. It caught fire in my home on 7/7/2013. Fortunately, the damage was limited to just the refrigerator and it could have been much, much worse. I called Electrolux (parent company for Frigidaire) on 7/9/2013. Electrolux will not compensate my family for the food lost due to the fire (not that I really expected them to; the unit is seven years old after all). However, they didn’t even want my pictures. I reasoned, therefore, that the Internet might. I said before, I didn’t really expect anything in the way of compensation from Electrolux for a seven year old product.
