    Oh God that’s screen is beautiful… once the screen is out of the computer like that, can you re-use it for something else? I’ve wanted to use my iMac as an external monitor ever since I got it, but Thunderbolt is way too fussy with inputs… 🙁

    no it is not. Just the way shown here is not a AASP procedure.
    The glass is meant to be removed efortlessly using 2 suctions cups, each at the top corners. Doing that and using just 2 fingers in each hand will remove the glass.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH I HAD A LAZY PIXEL AND I NEEDED TO TAP IT WITH THE BACKSIDE OF A PEN,, IT WENT BACK ON AGAIN ! APPLESTORE ASKS €50,- FOR REPAIRING THINGS LIKE THAT LOL
