I have to use this USB hub with my MacBook Air, and I love it. The look and styling are very Apple-like, and go well with the MacBook Air and my Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. They look like they were made all together. I read the reviews of other similar product that buyers are unhappy with the product were very short cord, but the hub will not suffer from this problem Satechi. His string is specified with 9.5 inches and is perfect. I am very satisfied with this product. I am thinking of buying another so I can leave the office and keep others think in my bag.

After charging my battery few hours (from 10% to 70% of capacity), the charger was incredibly hot to the touch. It was so hot that a smell similar to wet paint the room and the white plastic around the charger was warped and melted filled. I wish I had not stubborn and had listened to the previous negative reviews. Even if it is much cheaper than the original Apple charger that is also obviously a terrible product (prone to red wire at the joints), hence the need for a replacement to buy, this product does not work. I’m going to have to bite the bullet and get an original Apple charger to run it for at least without risk burning your house works. Very well with real Apple charger and this joke of a product dissatisfied. I would have given this product zero stars, but it did not give me less than one.

As a utility company, this charger certainly meets its purpose: it does not load my MacBook battery With that said, it is definitely not a product of Apple, and it shows in many ways for the power unit.. on the existing Apple extension cable fit very well. comes it with its own extension cord, awkwardly connects the extension cord power supply. This is hard to explain.
MagSafe connector also has some of its own problems. It will only charge , computer displays with a certain side up. When I try it with the other side up, the green LED blinks rapidly and does not load. Strange, but not a deal breaker. too often the green light to stay on, even though I replaced the cable from my computer.
Other than these two issues, the unit still my battery filled with juice and I’m grateful. Now if I can just keep my dog from chewing this one up as well .. .

UPDATED 9-21-12 … systems are in use for 3 months
Pros:. Overall powerhouse best laptop display that ever made, ideal for professionals, AppleCare, portability, quad-core Ivy Bridge processors in a laptop, USB 3
drawbacks. You pay for quality, for occasional use expensive
Who is it. Professionals, Designers , media-heavy users, video and photo editors, travelers, students, performance-minded users, anyone who
both performance and portability Who would not after. flirt or light users, those who need to expand that people who hate Apple and simply do not like their products independently
Why 5 Stars:.. It is easy to criticize a device for its shortcomings, but in the end, Apple has designed one of the best laptops ever sold his Performance and value are off the charts, and it would be disingenuous to make it work out for the little “wish list” we could be punished. succeeds in key areas (such as CPU performance) sacrifice, in relatively unimportant (no Ethernet connection) .
    The new MacBook Pro Retina
This is a review of a real owner, do not know … not discussed. I work in a design firm (Web, print, video, apps). What seeking, in a system is reliable, efficient performance at the best price, the new MacBook scores are off the charts in these areas – let us remember why look
POWER:., I had two designers who had outgrown their iMac i7 running 90% CPU capacity. (three words. Adobe Master Suite) The new machine is a massive increase in performance with the new CPUs It’s nice to see Apple, the quad-core Ivy Bridge on these … sometimes. they were slow to upgrade the CPU on the MacBook. and although the display gets all the press, it’s really the other hardware that makes the system. It cries and can handle a tremendous amount of abuse (we tested video editing and Use Photoshop and streaming Netflix and run a dozen other programs in the background – try to curl up with most machines and watch them and die) When you animate using the latest Pixar release, you might want to look for alternatives, but for everything else. this is a perfect business machine, and we really like the extra “oomph” when editing video or running graphics intensive

DISPLAY:. The display is amazing, but more importantly, it is useful to you. Now videos in full 1080p, while desktop space for any necessary toolbars, etc. And my designers tell me that this is the first MacBook them to design in terms of display accuracy – previous models do not really live up to their standards for , and they would have to double check on their desktops update designs Note:… During the summer there were some reports of firing on LG screens produced I researched and could not find a great tech site reporting this issue as essential Our two units are ‘on’ LG and was rotated 10 hours a day for the last three months. We have no image issues. Complaints, I could find, are usually posted in open forums, so I’m not sure how accurate the info But … we are not worried by the awesomeness of the AppleCare and the guys in our local Genius Bar

Some nerdy discussion on the display. Especially for professionals, here are some features of the display by independent sources reported. This device diplays will be 99% of the sRGB color space, a distinct peak of previous MacBooks (71%). It also includes a new LCD surface, the removal of the cover glass and substantially reduce glare while maintaining contrast. Users Extra -careful to prevent damage to the screen surface now the LCD is right, but the tradeoff is that this system is massively anti-reflective (something we noted immediately) And Apple has left the viewing angle is very wide -. most other brands use a narrow angle on their laptops in order to save battery. Imagine a “cone brightness’ … the wider, the more power is consumed by the display. If you do this close to the battery lasts longer, but the display is less reliable for design, because the image is distorted as you move around the site, even a few inches. The designers here at my company, confirm that you leave on the screen – they tell you to move pretty far to the side before they have changed. Overall … for a designer … The new display is a bar over everything, even the high-end monitors, we have (including Apple and other brands)
desktop / laptop HYBRID:.. We were sold on the portability We liked the fact that they have the power of a desktop (and we needed this power), but we also love the portability. My designers such as the ability to easily move workstations and I like it, in a position to send their work home with them (do not say I said that, ha).

UPGRADE: Some will complain that you can not simply open the machine. You will moan that you want to expand and upgrade. I do not think I’ll have a better system than Apple’s design team to build, and the iPad has … Read more

I bought my first PC in 1987 and I had managed to avoid Apple products since then. I admit I am biased. I never liked Apple’s OS or most of their hardware. I Never cared for Steve Jobs did not. Despite my bias, I am rational. And the simple fact is that there is currently no better notebook for my needs than this. I had my windows replaced notebook and after much research I have found that it simply nothing else on the market that meets these notebooks power, weight and silent / cool operation. And of course we all know that the screen is second to none. So, in a moment of weakness I fell to the dark side and bought an Apple product . As you can see above, I actually bought this product here on Amazon. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks for 10 + hours per day.
Can I say anything like this notebook performs on the Mac OS side of things, because I have Windows 7 running on it (make sure I could do this was an important part of my research before buying) with Boot Camp. Fortunately, all comes down to it great with Windows 7. I am a software developer and have been using Visual Studio, SQL Server and Oracle without problems. The screen is awesome. The notebook stays cool and I think I’ve heard the fan runs only a few times. Since I travel quite a bit, what I love most is its light weight and thinness.
So, even if a stubborn Windows users like me, I can wholeheartedly recommend notebook. The only downside I would add for Windows users, that the keyboard is not ideal for us . Apples “delete” is is our “Backspace”. Our “delete” is “fn” + “Delete.” Our PrintScreen is “shift” + “fn” + “F11.” And there are a few others that I you not bore you with it, hopefully get the idea. In the grand scheme of things it’s a minor annoyance considering how great everything else is working on this laptop.
The only thing I do not about this laptop is that big Apple logo on the back. anyone know where I can get to cover up nice big sticker with Bill Gates ‘face? Despite that, I still give this laptop 5 stars. Again, I’m biased, but I am also rational.’ div style = “padding-top: 10px; clear: both; width: 100%;”>

customer video Length :: 2:24 Mins
Screen / Display:. Colors, blacks, whites, crispness of the display is just amazing
Here is a short video I made with my 15 “MacBook Pro Retina,
the video do not, however, the beauty of this screen justice. Note: the screen “buttons”, which was a problem for me, as I always went with matte screens, glossy screens in the past were almost unusable outdoors or in rooms with direct sunlight. Apple claims reduced glare with the retina screen by 70%, and around I have to say first hand that I believe them, that’s a big plus, because the glossy screen looked better and better, but if you have bright light or sunlight your laptop it was nearly unreadable. So I’m happy to report the new Retina screen very well, though, “glossy” almost as anti-reflective as my previous matte screens, is that I would say it’s a non-issue for me, it’s that good
Battery: … The battery life is excellent
Battery times are usually difficult, because it depends entirely what you are doing and the brightness of the screen, but I have found that in general use (IE web surfing, email, IM Music . hear) and take the screen brightness to 50% of the battery is actually longer than the rated voltage of 7 hours)

form factor.:. The MacBook Pro Retina is smaller and lighter than the standard MacBook Pro with the Retina model weighs just 4.5 kg and its duty under 3/4 thick (If you want to get technical its 0.71 cm thick). This laptop is a joy to wear, it is looking so elegant and easy. I do not believe a previous generation 15 “MacBook Pro, and frankly, I would pre-delivery notice a big difference, however. I was wrong, you can definitely and the best part is not the laptop feel flimsy, as with him is so much lighter and thinner expect
Heat. granted only to write a short note on the Heat of the MacBook Pro Retina, if you are encoding video, it is very warm, but like any laptop one of the nicest surprises for me was and how cool running the laptop during normal usage such as web browsing, email, office applications, it is much cooler than my previous generation 15 “MacBook Pro, but the fans on this machine are dead quiet, in a quiet room. In fact, I had to stay in my ear to the laptop to make sure that even works when I first. Significantly quieter than any laptop I’ve ever heard.

Ports. The machine has 2 Thunderbolt, 2 USB 3.0, 1 HDMI (out), SDXC (SD) slot, headphone jack
Thunderbolt ports: I buy the Thunderbolt Gigabit Ethernet Adapter , which worked fine, I bought it mainly for a backup of my SSD faster than WiFi, not necessary I’m just impatient. plus I like with add-ons that I might never use, not sure it’s a guy thing. Thunderbolt is in its infancy, and truthfully, there is not much easy Thunderbolt devices. However, I’m glad Apple was looking into the future with this laptop and opted to put 2 ports on this machine.
USB 3.0: no problems with any of my standard USB devices (eg mouse, printer, etc.), which was very impressive, was my Lexar JumpDrive Triton 32GB USB 3.0 LJDNV32GCRBNA Flash Drive , which was to 7x faster than on my old laptop with USB 2.0 ports. I was blown away by how fast it was.

HDMI: Thanks Apple, you at last, and added them plug in an HDMI cable to your HDTV and your laptop screen on your television as soon as you plug the cable in. It just works
. and you are able to send 1080p to the TV Not much more than I can say, other that it works, and it works simply and easily
SDXC / Headphone: .. As mentioned, they work just easier and flawless. The SD reader has been improved over the previous version, when I read some problems with SD cards in the past with the previous models, namely cards not read the first time had. This model has read all my cards the first Inserted once inserted and every card I
Other notes:. WiFi receiver appears to be improving, it reads a stronger signal than my previous generation MacBook Pro
The dual built-in microphones are an essential improvement are what they do. . a super job in the reduction of background noise
The biggest con of this laptop. You’ll cringe every time you need to use another laptop again It’s like regular TV, HDTV, when you see it you spoil yourself and everything else just looks bad.

Logitech USB Headset H530 with Premium Laser-Tuned Audio (981-000195)
I’m using Windows Vista on a Toshiba laptop. This is to write a simple review for me … because not only the product offer “Crystal Clear Sound” it delivers exactly what it advertises -. Tested crystal clear sound
I have all the settings, and the Skype test was one that really shocked me. As hard of hearing these tests were very important to me. It is not easy for me to put a head, what I need to make to get. Not only do I hear everyone clearly and without any problems, but when I heard the recording of my voice through these headphones, I actually sounded good! The volume control on the ear piece and the flexible swivel microphone was a pleasure to play! It was nice and sturdy, so I do not feel that they fall apart with extended use or somewhat rough handling.
I moved … to the music test and tried several CD’s both classic rock and symphonic rock, and again I was very pleased with what I pleased her head.
hearing the sound for DVD movies and TV shows has been a pleasure. Background noise;. While not completely eliminated was dampened somewhat
I wear several sets of earrings and with this headset I do not take them off, to be comfortable. The headset does not squeeze my head and give me a headache, even after extended use.
The settings on the headphones was a pleasure to work with and very easy to use.

I’m a fan of Logitech products for a while now, I have the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard and the Logitech Laser wireless mouse. I love both products. I enjoyed working with these headphones, and I love the fact that this product is exactly what it advertises does.
If there is an error (and it really is not), is that I wish I could get some kind of adapter so that I could use this with my iPhone!

This review is from: Logitech USB Headset H530 with Premium Laser-Tuned Audio (981-000195) (Personal Computers)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine ™ Program ( What’s this? )

The Logitech USB Headset H530 is a comfortable padded headset with speakers for both ears. Unlike headphones that where padding goes around your ears, the padding of the H530 rests against your ears, this allows a relatively high definition sound and allows you to hear external The headset has three settings:… The first is a change between gaming, music and telephone, this is essentially a bass adjustment, which allows the unit to provide the appropriate audio performance for each application. The second volume control is directly adjusts the computer output volume. The third is a mute button to turn off the microphone (and lights a small red LED on the microphone, so you know, you’re mute light).
The idea here is that the headset provides both microphone input and audio output, making them suitable for telephone applications how Skype can be used as well for dictation or voice-recording software. My Mac PowerBook has a built in microphone and camera, but my Mac Pro desktop computer has neither. I put the H530 into the USB port on the front of my computer under my desk. The supplied cable is easily reached my position at a computer. I have several Skype calls and for each was informed that the sound quality was excellent. The sound was very good, as for the music and gaming was how Logitech wants.’s microphone simply swings up and out of the way, if you are the headset for music.
installation required at all. soon as I connected the headset, it works immediately. You can listen to to access controls on your Mac from the sound field in the System Preferences. This allows you to direct audio output to the headset only instead of outboard speakers or the Mac’s internal speaker. Note that use this device either the audio output or the microphone port, so you still have it available for other hardware should you wish. adjustments to the volume are still made from the keyboard, if you know that the key earside prefer. The headset volume is up pretty high, so adjust the volume before putting on the headset. The headset can be worn for a long time without discomfort, but note that if you wear glasses, you might be at a certain pressure, where the headset pushes your ears a little closer to feel the head, perhaps pushes the arm your glasses against your ears. This is typical with a headset design of this type, and I find a headset that gets around the eyeglass wearer difficulties.’ve tested
I headset with Mac OS 10.6.4, iTunes 9.2 and 0.1 Skype 2.8.0.851. I ran into any software-related problems. Logitech’s support site that was easy to navigate, confirmed that the product native driver Support uses a Mac. Note that for about twice the price, you can get what appears to be an identical headset with wireless capabilities. Your choice will depend on your application. If you are using this for voice-over- development or dictation, you’re not likely to move far away from your computer screen, in which case the wireless hardware is not worth the extra dollars. But if you agree with this, especially for Skype, and you either do not have a plan you have a webcam or who follow you as you walk through the room, may prefer the wireless.
Just for kicks, I launched VMWare Fusion and Windows 7, the system cued me to install the Logitech H530 and then could all use aspects of the headset without difficulty. Once the headset on the Win 7 side, returned to the Mac side of my external speakers. After disconnecting the Logitech from Win 7, the Mac then immediately returned to Logitech. possibility can not be with Logitech (if that’s important to you) simultaneously with both Windows 7 and Mac OS, but no problems at all with the use of this software in difficult situations Highly recommended

I’ve been using this for a week now
    Pros.:
    * USB makes it nice and convenient if you do not have audio jack or an uncomfortable one
*. Speech audio is truly exceptional.
    * The mic is hands down better than anything I’ve ever used on a computer for Voice. People on the other end said it sounded fantastic
    * Nice and light
    * mute and volume buttons on the headset are more useful than expected
    * Mic is really well done – … It works. conveniently placed out of the way and holds regardless of the position I
    drawbacks.
    * Not nearly as comfortable as my Sony headphones for long listening sessions
    * The bass is a little weak and tense (which makes sense with young drivers).
    * I would like a pause button on the headset as well.
So if you love music and are looking for something to listen to a lot of music, I would still go with a real pair of cans. On the other hand, if you are looking to audio conferencing, web conferencing or talkative online gaming experience I would recommend this in a moment
    Quicksearch
Install Tip -. It claims it needs no drivers, but when I connected it, it did not show. Up at all (XP SP3) You had to go to Control Panel, Device Manager control – under USB devices, there were a number of yellow question mark entries. Right click, update driver, let it go on line to find new drivers, repeat for each individual. Most people do not seem to have a problem, but only if you do.
