I, a plastic case for my Macbook Pro purchase, and this is one of the few people who stood by me when, because of how it looks and its price! Great product and covers my laptop really nice and makes it smooth! The Apple logo shines through all right. I noticed that fingerprints are easily seen on the case, but it’s pretty easy to clean!

I ordered this product because it was cheap and I thought a black MacBook would look cool. When I was the package I was surprised to see that there is no Apple logo cut out and the case is semi-transparent. Now honestly this case still looks pretty sweet and I do not regret buying it, but the product is not what the pictures and description is to be.

I love color and fit the laptop lid, and it was here on the first estimated date I have only a couple of problems: … theres a small scratch on the top of the lid and unfortunately it did not even come with a keyboard cover Sun that part was kind of a rip off. But other than that, the color is pretty much (it seems just a bit brighter), and it is protective and fits well. More like a 3.5-star rating.

I bought the Apple MacBook Air MD224LL / A 11.6-Inch Laptop (latest version) 2011 Macbook Pro 13 to replace. “I am a teacher / student, and this is my main computer.

build quality is surprisingly robust. Though I clearly a case for those who want to acquire (probably from iPearl), I think you could probably get away with using nothing. This robustness is an amazing performance, considering its low weight. owner of the former Macbook Airs enjoy more of the same.
    DISPLAY
The Macbook Air has a beautiful display, which is quite bright, crisp and clear is. Automatic dimmer function adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light, and I have found that this works really well. Personally, I think the colors on the Macbook Pro 13 “screen” popped “a bit more, and I liked the Bezel-less solid piece of glass on it better. However, there is no denying that the resolution is far superior to that machine. I’ve seen the resolutions on some of the other ultrabooks (Windows), and I think it looks better (the ppi is actually about the same). [EDIT:] The soon-to-be-released Zenbook and others will have better displays this year, though, so this may change in the future
    KEYBOARD
It is finished. Size and typing on it feels good. The backlit keys are great. The keys do not travel enough for my taste, and it feels a little less solid than the Macbook Pro, but that’s a minor complaint. I write for a living, and I look forward to writing about this topic!
    trackpad
The glass trackpad mention probably not much in most of the reviews, but it’s one of the best features of a Macbook, and it uses Apple computers stand out from the competition. I moved my mouse a long time ago because of it. If you take the time to master the gestures (see your preferences), take and try to give full-screen views on applications, you can enjoy an incredible experience on this machine. The slightest touch can take you from one screen to another.
    BATTERY
too short. Really, 5 hours is not very much, and it looks like I’m only getting about as much with regular use on half brightness [edit: after testing a few times – just under 5 hours]. I wish they could have up to an hour or two more have come across, and I’m going to miss the long life on my Macbook Pro. I think the battery life is one of the trade-offs for this form factor.
    SPEED It
is lightning fast. To be honest, I can not say. Difference but between him and the last year’s model They tell me it’s faster, though, so I think I’m going to believe them. Maybe a few months of use, gives me more perspective. Anyway, it’s much faster than the Macbook Pro.
    ACCESSORIES / STUFF / PORTS
The cable is a good length, and the power adapter is quite small. It’s somewhere. Between the size of my iPad and the Macbook Pro power adapter power supply Of the, what I can tell, it looks a considerably smaller than the 13 “Macbook Air. I think that maybe I do not mind wearing it around in my pocket man with the Macbook Air, the ports on the machine are very conveniently placed with a USB port on each side. This is so much better than the Macbook Pro, which had all the ports on the left, where they inevitably lead to problems. Fat thumb drives sometimes took up so much space I could not another USB -. cable into the slot next to it there is no Ethernet port No Firewire port either forewarned It does not matter to me, but it might give you
    COMPARISONS …. – 64GB I
bought the 128GB model. With judicious use of cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox, and perhaps the purchase of a 32GB USB flash drive to carry around files, if you are not connected, I think 64GB is also doable. One of the great things about this year’s 64GB model is that you get the same 4GB of RAM. my view model to be the best value, and I would have gotten it if I had not a large number of files in an application that due to application design, can I do not put on the cloud
    -. 13 “Macbook Air
the base model 13″ MacBook Air is a better buy if you want the extra battery life and screen size I guess portability of these things. (I can wear this in a little man’s pocket, but if I have the 13 “I would have to move up to a mail bag or backpack).
    – 13 “Macbook Pro
the MacBook Pro 13″ was an OK computer last year and before the Macbook Air Sandy Bridge refresh, was definitely the best entry-level product. But she has not updated the resolution this year, it is rather seedy compared to the Macbook Air, and it’s much harder. If you simply refuse to just use the cloud and have to wear an obscene amount of files every day, I see no point … Read more

     5.0 out of 5 stars with enthusiasm my 11″ 2012 Macbook Air , June 24, 2012
    By

style=”float:left;”> Ron Cronovich “Ron” (Kenosha, WI) –

UPDATE 29th September, has for about 100 days, my 11 “Air was my main computer I am just so happy with it now as the day I was battery life always maintained near the 5 hours Apple, sometimes more … performance is consistently incredibly fast, and traveling by air is a dream (2.4 pounds and super thin, rather than 4-6 pounds for a normal laptop). No scratches on the aluminum casing or screen. no problems of any kind if my Air is lost or stolen, I would buy the same again without thinking here is my original review.
    ———–
The 11 “is a 2012 Air winner in my opinion. It offers excellent performance and it is absolutely amazing portable despite a comfortable full-size keyboard and an excellent display. The design is beautiful, and build quality is excellent.
I ordered my 2012 11 “Macbook Air, the day it was introduced, he received a few days later, and it had been intense. I also own a 13” late 2010 model MB Air that my main computer, and always this was.
The 2012 Air SSD is literally more than twice as fast as the SSD in the 2010 and 2011 model Airs. The new Ivy Bridge processors are more than twice as fast as the Core 2 Duo in the 2010 Airs and about 20% faster than Sandy Bridge processors in the 2011 Air Compared to my 2010 Air flies the 2012 Air and makes the 2010 Air seem very sluggish.
The new Ivy Bridge processors are faster and less power-hungry than the processors in the years 2010 and 2011 Airs, which provides a small but appreciate the improvement in battery life after the independent published benchmarks. I have not tested officially my new 11 “Air-battery run time, but my experience seems to be pretty consistent with the results in their professional reviews published
[UPDATE:.. Now I’ve had the new air for about three months I consistently’m getting at least 5 hours of battery life per charge, sometimes more, depending on how I use it. Usually I do. screen brightness to 50% and the backlight of the keyboard down to the lowest setting (but not out)]
This is my first computer with USB 3.0 ports. Mir was removed speeds my USB 3.0 flash drive and a 2 TB blown external hard drive. (My other USB peripherals are USB 2.0, so I do not notice a difference with them.) I
Bootcamp on Windows 7 and some Windows-only software I need for work to install. booting into Windows and Windows natively is a much better experience on this new Air as the Lenovo Windows laptop that I have at my job.
For people who do not have an Apple TV and play their air through a home theater system, it is very helpful that the 2012 Air now has HDMI audio pass-through. This means. that can use a single HDMI cable to transmit video and audio from your air to your home theater system or TV (although you still need the HDMI adapter, because the air still not have a HDMI port. But the adapter is quite cheap.) the 2010 Air (and perhaps the 2011 Air?) could only pass video through the HDMI cable, so you would need a separate audio cable for sound. I got my new air running through my home theater and saw a few SD and HD programs I downloaded to iTunes, and it worked really great -. Setup was very easy and picture and sound are very good, I really appreciate it because I recently ditched cable and now rely on iTunes, Hulu + and similar Internet services for my TV needs.
If you have a 2010 Air and can afford it, an upgrade to a 2012 Air a breeze. Performance is much better, plus there are many small but meaningful improvements (keyboard with backlight, HDMI audio pass-through, USB 3.0, better FaceTime webcam).
If you have a 2011 Air, is the case for the modernization weaker. Compared to the 2011 Airs have the 2012 Airs less improvement and the performance gain is much less dramatic (the main exception is the much faster SSD)
If you are trying a decision between Air and a 13 “Macbook Pro. The air is thinner and lighter than the Pro, so it’s much nicer to travel with. The Air display has a higher resolution than the Pro. The air blows the SSD Pro 5400 rpm hard drive. On the other hand has the pro-saturated colors display and a larger viewing angle. The Pro has a built-in optical drive, which is important to some people, but many of us rarely use more cheap external drives work very well with the air. The per-processor is more powerful (though most people find the 2012 Air Processor more than enough power and speed have). If you are trying to decide between an Air and Pro, visit your local dealer and touch and hold them both.
If you try to want to decide between a 11 “and 13” Air, the main compromise is in my opinion battery life vs. portability. The battery life is rated at 5 hours at 11 “… target = 100%;”> Read more

I am reviewing this product along with my Macbook Pro Retina, I will doing some comparisons
. I bought this laptop to a family member to replace aging Asus laptop. was not a power user, and was convinced that she wanted to buy an Apple .. I helped her choose the air because they really just need a general use laptop, not a powerful computer
qualifications: Senior at Clemson University in Computer Engineering and I would a power user, but I will write this review for the purpose of the non-power user, I do not think that this notebook for the best option for people who are processing power, but for consumers who want a quality laptop . for everyday tasks

build quality. 9/10 The incredibly thin of 2008 seems not quite as thin, not change How times This means that this laptop is extremely well built.. , and feels well built, but still very light and compact, I feel as though you need to be careful with him, just because it’s so thin, but I can just paranoid
Power:.. 10.06. The Ivy Bridge processors give the MacBook Air a great boost in graphics performance. However, this is not a processing workhorse. If you need a powerful processor, go with the Macbook Pro 13 “. But for every day performance, its perfectly adequate. If you do not flash memory, have used before (SSD), the laptop will probably feel faster for most everyday tasks as a quad core computer just because everything is not computationally intensive so zippy
Battery Life: .. 8/10 At full brightness, you can use about 3 hours out of it, but can get 5 at low light levels. While I complained about in my retina MacBook Pro, which is good for such a small lightweight machine. You can push the battery life by jumping on the 13 “size, but for the 11” form factor, this is a. reasonable amount in my eyes
Screen: .. 8/10 The air is still with the TN display and has not yet switched to the IPS system is the advantage of IPS displays that they have much wider viewing angle brackets. if you tilt the screen, all the way back, you get a mushy screen. That is, go as far as TN displays, this is an excellent and better than the 13 “MacBook Pro screen. This screen is not a Retina display, and you can definitely tell a difference between the air and the Ipad3/Retina macbook However, the screen is still crisp and nice for a non-retina screen I’d say it was somewhere between the iPad2 and iPad3
in image quality sound:…. 4/10 Very Tinny at max volume But … it’s a half-inch thick 11 “Laptop … You do not buy that for sound quality. The retina Macbook Pro has a much better sound system, but the laptop is less than half the price, and in a much smaller form factor. I have it a 4/10 for the tone, but the sound quality really is not much factored into the overall review of the sound quality is fine at lower levels
expansion: … 3/10 I gave the retina MacBook Pro on 1/10. But released today OWC flash memory for the air. You will never be in the position to the RAM / memory upgrade, but you’ll be able to update the store.
sexiness factor. 9/10 Not quite as incredibly sexy as it was in 2008, but still his own Not many laptops are thinner than this, and I would not argue except maybe Samsung retains its quality for this Thin <.. br />
Total: 8/10 This is one of those situations where the last device is better than the sum of its parts Yes, the speaker can not handle large amounts, but did you expect it? .. is only so much you can do if you work in one case, these thin. The power is not stupendous, but its more than enough for the target audience (people who do not want to run Final Cut Pro, but mild to moderate Photoshop and Internet users). The screen is not retina but is beautiful none-the-less. This laptop is ideal for general computing users, and is likely to last for several years before you start to think about another upgrade.
