These are the three pieces of network equipment I have: a. Cable modem (Time Warner 10Mbps service over cable) .2. D-Link 54G hub (wireless & 5 ports) recently gekauft3. Linksys 4-Port Hub (no wireless) over 5 years we altSagen, I’m ignoring the wireless function of the hub for this Fall.Wie can I set this up so that I can run multiple 7-PCs in this network? on the router, disable DHCP and not with their Internet / WAN ports. Connect a LAN port on the D-Link cable modem to one of the LAN ports and one of the ports on the Linksys to connect to one of the LAN ports on the cable modem. This should work out all the ports to the WAN port of the D-Link.Update: You only need a crossover cable if neither device has an auto-MDIX. Most modern routers have auto-MDIX on their LAN ports. Your 5-year-old Linksys could not, however.
