I have the new Galaxy 3 for a few days and it has really grown on me. I have. Upgrade the Galaxy S (Captivate), which I loved as my first smartphone, but I have it as a free refurbished model so a few problems (non-functioning GPS and random hiccups and starts here and there) had I was a little concerned sticking to Samsung, after a little trouble with the previous Galaxy model. Despite the hiccups my personal copy of the Galaxy S, I decided to give the III a try.
After opening the beautiful box that the Galaxy III comes in, I was a bit shocked that the phone seemed a bit thin. To insert the battery and the SIM card, you have to pry basically cheap plastic back with your fingernails. It seemed a bit strange, especially since the Galaxy S had a sliding metal cover and was built like a hockey puck. This is my one main complaint about the III. The Galaxy S is going strong after two years of drops and falls without protective housing, but I do not feel that the III can sustain such severe abuse. I’m sure it will survive a couple of accidents, but I do not think I feel comfortable subjecting my previous inattention to its predecessor. After you attach the battery into the casing feels a bit more solid and the rear locks tight.
also gave additional memory and removable battery III of an advantage over other new smartphone models. The III also comes with a nice set of headphones / microphone, and of course a charger.
In terms of size, it’s pretty obvious that the III has a lot of screen space and is much larger than the Galaxy S and many other smartphones. I have small hands / fingers, but I could not, the Galaxy S to manipulate with one hand. Not so with the III, but that’s hardly worth complaining. The screen is big and beautiful. Colors are crisp and the contrast is very good. I think the screen is not as bright on the Galaxy S screen, but it’s still an improvement, because the colors are not as shocks.
The phone runs pretty good. It is very smooth and I feel intuitively. Android Gingerbread from ICS is not too much of a change. Switching tasks is a breeze, and it is significantly faster than the Galaxy S. Also my friend’s Motorola Atrix 4G, and the dual-core outperforms (though it is now two years old). We ran the same tasks and app on both the phones and they have parallel performance. Also ran a Quadrant test in 4758 (if that means anything to you). The Atrix tested 2091st
Another reviewer complained that the phone was running hot. I do not really see this as a problem with my copy. It warm up a little, but no more than the original Galaxy S, and no one is doing on the plane.
The voice is a nice addition and works surprisingly well. I’ve never seen an iPhone or Siri tried so I can not compare. S Voice is a nice touch, but I felt a bit slower than expected. It is much more accurate and smarter than what the Galaxy S had voice work. It is very sensitive to decipher a problem as any kind of statement (ie not thinking out loud!) Try There are a few things that are pretty gimmicky as the Smart Stay, alleged to active the screen, while your face, is there watching it. We felt that this feature was unnecessary and a possible battery drain be as it recognize your face, even if you do not really look at the phone. It can be a handy feature for watching movies. Fortunately, this feature can be easily disabled.
The two cameras are really good. I’m a DSLR user, and I’m big into photography. I thought the Galaxy S camera was ok, but the III cameras are a big step up. The rear camera focuses very, very fast and with a touch of the screen, you can easily change the focus of the image before you take the picture. Of course it can not compete with DSLR photography, but it takes pretty decent photos for a phone. It does not exactly rival compact point & shoot cameras, but it’s close. comes
III also with some useful applications, such as gravel Air you on your phone to change (allows edit contacts, add music, etc) from your computer, without the phone into the USB connector. This is a great feature, especially if you always start with the phone for the first time and import data. There are a lot of crapware from AT & T, but they can easily be removed or hidden. You can easily hide apps will Application Manager, stop hitting force and then disable. This can quickly remove unwanted or infrequently used applications, without eradicating it.
battery life on smartphones is terrible in general. With moderate use, I can through the day with some battery to spare even so it was good enough. It took 12 hours of regular use of GPS, called apps, mobile with 10% to spare.
Overall I am very satisfied with the phone. Other than investing in a good cover, and to learn to be more careful, I can not really find much … Read more

First, this is a review of the U.S. version of the phone . I tried to. Put up a comment on the U.S. version, but Amazon would not let me So hopefully helps people decide to get the U.S. version of the phone. In humans, this is asking for the Sprint network. Differs because it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1.5 GHz dual-core CPUs
the U.S. version of the phone, while the rest of the hardware specs are the same as the international version.
I switched from an HTC EVO 4G to get this phone and so far it’s been great! Here are the things I like about the phone:
    * The phone is a nice size, it is lighter than my HTC EVO 4G
    * The processor is one of the fastest U.S. release Android phone. , And it comes with 2 GB of RAM.
    * I played with the camera and video camera and the quality is very good in my opinion. (I’ll post a few photos or a video later.)
    * The ICS 4.0 is really fast and it’s applications opened quickly.
    * It comes with Google Wallet. I signed and got to use a free $ 10. (I have to test it to go to McDonalds!)
    * I only have the S Voice application a couple of times, but it seems like my wife Siri on iPhone 4S to be.
    * It comes with a micro SD slot if more space is needed to store images, videos, etc.
    * You can remove the battery if needed.
    * The battery life is twice as long in comparison to my HTC. EVO 4G

    Now for some cons:
    * This is the carrier used and not the phone itself, but it is not a 4G LTE on the Sprint network. Other networks, such as AT & T and Verizon should be better, but I’m stuck with 3G speeds for now.
    * The phone is so beautiful that I do all the time baby!

I was on the fence about this phone or the HTC EVO 4G LTE aka HTC One X. The main things I like about the Samsung Galaxy 3 on the HTC EVO 4G LTE it with the micro SD card slot and comes also the battery can be replaced if it is always bad.
    I love this phone! 🙂

This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android Phone, Blue 16GB (AT & T) (Wireless Phone)

After years of sticking with my simple but , flip phone, I decided to jump off the cliff and on the smartphone train. I had held off on the accession of the masses, because it seems like every time I was turned me around seemed a new and improved smartphone. Why waste the money when my phone made obsolete by the time I get it from the store? Then I heard about the coming Samsung Galaxy S3 (S3). After reading hours upon hours of reviews on the S3, which all have one. Sudden I could not get my check card from my wallet fast enough If you’re thinking about buying a smartphone upgrade, or just looking, I hope this review will help you to think I did the same, The Galaxy S3 is the best phone in the … Universe.
I will say, MASSIVE is the first adjective that came to mind when I start my Samsung Galaxy S3 box opens. The display on the phone is an incredible 4.8 channels, a 50 “HD plasma TV would feel” what felt to me, from a standard flip phone, like what I imagine upgrade from a standard-13. “After the initial shock wore off of size, was the next thing that I noticed the beautiful color, the S3 comes in two color choices, white marble and gravel blue .. I had picked the latter, and let me tell you that I the right choice, which I also noticed., that the phone has less than I do with a phone that big. Compared to my old flip phone, the S3 exhibits all the same basic keys for volume control, on / off switch and a Main Menu Button expects weighed. Some might say that the size of the phone makes it awkward or bulky, and I found it took a few days to adjust the size. However, after playing with my new S3 for about a week now, the advantages I far outweigh believe any downsides to using a phone this big and further credence of this opinion, I will talk about the display, the camera, and then the video camera, which benefit greatly from the size of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

For starters, the Resolution on the S3 is amazing. With a 720 x 1280 pixel display, the clarity of everything you are stunning from the main menu of the phone. After I noticed the ad, I decided to check out Image Quality The Galaxy S3 has two different cameras;. an 8-megapixel (MP) rear-facing camera and a 1.9MP front-facing camera, both of which I find very useful, for example, for each day from facial images shots, action shots yet. portrait, I find the rear-facing camera, the best fit. However, if I make sure that I do not smile like a complete idiot, or have something stuck in my teeth, wishing front facing camera comes in handy. With a 4.8 “screen is incredibly useful to know for sure what’s going on, you turn in your picture. In addition, the cameras on the Galaxy S3 with many different features, on the one hand the “burst shot ‘, which will take place soon came five pictures in a row, which really helps if you try to split second your child is catching will smile while you are with a camera. From what I heard from friends that resemble camera discounts on the S3 other smartphone camera options, so lost for potential migration smartphone users, it should not be much in the translation when They decide to switch to the Samsung Galaxy S3. On the other hand, if you come from a flip phone like I did, it will take a while to get adjusted to all the different camera options, but if you know, my opinion, it’s worth it in the long run. Unless
video goes … Let me say that I tried something bad start broken or annoying to find the Video options on Samsung Galaxy S3. I searched but to no avail;. the video on the S3 is just perfect first with 1080p at 30fps video camera, the quality is found as good as you best high-definition TV in the market, for example, I tried using the. Skype application on my S3, so I could video chat with my daughter who lives in California. Video quality was comparable, if not better, than what it is on my computer that allows me to see my daughter, even if I am not at home at my computer allows. However, when I was forced with a gun to deal with anything negative about the video aspect of the S3, I would say that at 30fps, you may experience a slight delay when the objects / People recording moving too fast. I only have this delay experienced even when shooting moving cars while running, and it was hardly noticeable. Overall, Samsung Galaxy S3 video camera has to be considered a strong selling point, in the search for a new phone.
In summary, I am very pleased with the fact that I bought a Galaxy S3. The enormous size of the screen, along with the resolution is incredibly useful when an SMS, email or play games. The come handy cameras on the S3 in just about every situation I can think of, so it’s nice to be prepared for anything and everything. … The video camera is Read more
