I think I would go with iphone then as it. Nor yet the impression of a higher resolution Iphone is also blazing fast ‘the web browsing, camera, checking email, and text messages. super fast and easy to use (not as many buttons ..). is any other phone in the fast? make a side by side comparison

The S3 has a higher resolution, but also because of the larger screen, it has fewer pixels per square inch. So you could technically say that the iPhone seems to have a higher resolution, though the S3 does in reality. They are about the same

glad I did not get an iphone. I sat on the guardrail was based on the second floor of a friend’s apartment and I slipped and fell from the 2 stories to the concrete and it broke. I had over 100 pictures of my nieces birthday party on the day before had not backed up on my computer. Saved by the sd card. Everything would have been lost on the iPhone.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine ™ Program span class = “tiny nowrap”> ( What is it? )

I am a computer repair technician and a problem I have all the time with my clients is the famous’ a virus hijacked my computer and the precious images are inside. “Yes, the prom, the honeymoon or the newborn images usually without ransom instead. Most of the time we can with malware of some sort that the Windows operating system files have to do is influenced, but the data intact . So before I fix the computer to save, I have the images and other files they might value. However, not all repair technicians do, say most, that the files are corrupted, as could be the case, but in Usually it really is, they are too busy to save a little, do not know how to do it, or it will not, unless paid the big bucks.
for its own sake, is the best , is what to do to save the data before the computer is infected, or the hard drive fails., for images I recommend the backup of the original files to data discs, but for faster daily files backups (music, movies games, software, etc.), it is better to use an external hard drive.
The Western Digital My Book 2TB is a fantastic way to carry large amounts of data in a tiny container that is always available and secure . I love its dimensions, both physically and in bytes.
also done the really fast data transfers with USB 3.0 interface saves time every day. Speaking of the USB port is another great feature that requires only a single USB port for power, while many external hard drives and enclosures with the form factor of 2.5 “require two USB ports.
This drive is great, not only for media files, but also for the storage of documents in digital form, because it saves space. Moreover, in case of emergency, it is faster to get it then grab a folder. I do backups with two hard drives and discs, and it is a great help over the years. For example, the last time I pulled the new school district my daughter first vaccines’ records wanted. I knew I had. The original card in a box somewhere, but I needed it fast Then I remembered I scanned the map years ago, and that print scanned image, the storage in my daughter’s digital folder hours in my external hard drive, saved me the search and accelerated its registration process in the new school.

About the WD SmartWare software from the manufacturer offered, I hesitated before for them, because in the past WD backup software did not work well for me. However, if you are going to do with such a large amount of data, it is a pain to do manually, and the alternative use of the backup and restore features in Microsoft Windows 7 is included, something I complete only for a do system image would not for daily backup. So I installed the WD SmartWare software, and so far, it’s a good performance, it requires time and attention to learn but its functionality. If you do not have to decide the WD SmartWare software, you can still use the disk directly from the box, like any other external hard drive.
besides reading the manual, I recommend that before the drive into your computer, you can go to the Western Digital My Passport Support page and read how to use it.

Because there are a few details to know before you start backing up your data. Among these topics, as WD SmartWare from the external drives, How to block a category backup with WD SmartWare software, How to create you to back up specific files and install folder with WD SmartWare software, How to retrieve a backup with WD SmartWare software, set up security or unlock WD external drive with WD SmartWare (videos are placed in some of these are available), and how to partition and format a WD drive on Windows (7, Vista, XP) and Mac OSX, etc., etc. I
can not post links here, but you can do a search for WD Support / Downloads / My Passport and find the page where a variety of software that works with the Western Digital My Book 2TB can be downloaded for free.
however, to read the most important fact Western Digital support information for this drive is to learn how to use it before ‘entrusted to your valuable data. Especially if you have the WD SmartWare software will be installed.
all know are very important steps in setting up these drives should, then it is clear to the Western Digital declared support pages.
For example, when you install the software, you are asked whether you want to apply any security (password protection and encryption) to the drive. Before setting the password, you must check a, I do certify box that you understand that if you forget the password, the data can be restored. I repeat, and excuse the capitals, but this is crucial if you forget the password, the data can not be recovered.

Since there is no way to retrieve your password if you forget it, please write the password in a safe place for disposal. If you want, it is possible to change your security … Read more

This review ( What is it )

This is my first experience with a Western Digital hard drive. I bought the 1TB Passport drive to other mainly against it because CNET (awarded their Editors’ Choice for the 2 TB model that was not for sale available when I placed my order) I’m currently using the WD SmartWare software (version, which is charged with the unit
smart form factor Very small and sleek for a 1 TB drive.
USB powered (just plug it into the USB port). No need for a power cord or a bulky power adapter. at Provides true portability.
Impressive USB 2.0 speed my first backup of 131 GB worth of files / content.
    Automatic file backup function
A USB cable (included) supports both 3.0 and 2.0.
Surprisingly quiet and runs pretty cool
Excellent Customer Service I called twice and spoke highly skilled / professional technicians
WD SmartWare software, surprisingly so-so not for this cool little device Sun. intuitive or smooth as I expected or read. (I wonder if I would be better off deleting the SmartWare software altogether.) is not
This version of SmartWare very flexible and does not include a full system backup (system . image) function I had to install another application, a system image to create (Fortunately, WD offers a free copy of an application called Acronis for its customers – but I had to call customer service to find out about this application and said, where to find it on their support page.
Automatic backup feature only works if the system is idle.
on my entire user experience with this device up to date (a few days) I anywhere from 3.5 to 4.0 rating Based am However, if portability with incredible amounts of storage (the next model up is 2Tbs!) pocket-sized device is your top priority -. then I do not think it’s something else on the market, which suggests this device in this regard

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful support and USB cable 3 , 21 June 2012

I recently purchased this drive and was so disappointed with his performance. I had to buy before the MY Passport Essential 1TB 2 months and expects the same kind of performance. A 1 hour backup on the old drive was more than 8 hours on this drive. I kept backing up and I ran Atto benchmark on this drive. Out of the box and it was rate at 25-30 MB / s what USB 2.0 speed.
I Have a My Passport Essentials (which is also USB 3). So I took the cable from the drive and ran the benchmark, read / wrote at 115-120 MB / s, that’s what I expect in terms of performance of this drive. Whose very close eSata speeds with the right cable I changed USB 3 ports and saw no change in performance. I sewed back the original cable and the speed went to USB 2.
I contacted WD technical support and was told that I had a bad cable and that I will receive in 4-5 days. When I arrived back from holiday and the cable I ran the ATTO benchmark of the drive. First, meet properly, but when it got to the 1024-test it. From this point on this drive with the new cable at 25-35 MB / s performed. I called support again told them not their cable supports the drive. But when I put the cable that works from the other drive into two USB 3-Port, the drive worked great.
I of the support staff was told that I spoke to WD, they would overnight a new cable and arrive there until Tuesday. As it is now Thursday and a new cable has not arrived I can only assume that this cable is defective and not USB are rated third I have been with the technical support spoken twice and said that. The cable on the way I finally convinced her to give me a tracking number. Now the state is saying it was not picked up.
Well, if you fess a problem with the wiring and provide a date certain as is the supply? I tired calling and getting the same answer. It’s all about the cable with this item, if it (the correct USB-3 cable) you got to expect the performance gains, because I see them. I need to remove only the cable from my other drive to see it.
