Today’s the big day as the curious little convertible prepares for the Cartown 500. Redline Rick is eager to start the race but Putt-Putt and Pep need a few items before they are ready to roll.

    Won’t run at all under 64 bit windows I can’t evaluate the game, as it won’t run at all under Windows 7 (64 bit). Apparently it’s a 16 bit program, which isn’t allowed to run at all–no way, no how–under Windows 7 itself, regardless of compatibility settings. I don’t know about XP compatibility mode, which is different from changing the compatibility settings, but that’s only a Windows 7 professional thing anyway.My “fun” rating of 5 is only because I have to give a rating, and I don’t want to unfairly penalize it…

    Putt-Putt Rocks! “Putt-Putt Enters the Race” is yet another great PC game for kids. My 4 year-old loves this one. The game changes each time you play, the graphics are clear, and the exploring is so much fun. Heck, I even enjoy breaking the seal on a new CD-Rom and playing it.
