I had the first generation Kensington KeyFolio, and I have used versions by Logitech and Trent … but after all this is the one I’m very happy with the following reasons:
1 Style: I like structured facade with the smoothness compared There is also a strap that looks like an accent to the outside, but can also be used to the Folio be closed I think it looks nice
2 keyboard:… Little to give as a standard, but not too small and very light. There are some keyboard / case products where the buttons beside each other are broken. The keyboard has well-spaced, individual keys like a macbook. Easily BT my connect iPad. Convenient buttons bring me to my home screen, play / pause, forward / backward music, volume up / down, etc.
But the best is that the keyboard comes out of the case so that I enter not tied to where the case stands. The keyboard is held magnetically cool with the case of the just feels to me. refer to light, but also held firmly in position when in the case.
3 I love it to Velcro the bottom of the frame that holds the iPad. This means that if I the iPad at my preferred angle, it is held securely by the velcro. I can not overemphasize this enough … it is really easy. This feature alone makes me raise my rating from 4 stars to 5
4 Stylus holder -. A no brainer feature that is necessary for us, people who are using a stylus on the ipad is
commonalities with other keyboard / cases (ie long battery life, camera holes, etc.), but which are above what sold me on this version. I took a chance to buy it, but I’m very glad I did. I will another as a Christmas present for my wife is safe to buy (not very romantic, but considerate and practical … they’ll love it).

I have an iPad3. I bought both these, the Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2 Removable Keyboard, Case and Stand for iPad 2 New iPad (K39512US) and the Zagg ZAGGfolio with keyboard for the new iPad 3G (FOLCARSLV101) . The Kensington I bought from Amazon and I Zagg bought from Best Buy. So this is a comparative review of the two products with the iPad 3 is used.
First, the Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2 since that’s the product I reviw to this posting. I’m guessing that part of it now.
This seems a better overall concept than ZAGGfolio have and is set in the position in a larger number of positions. KeyFolio design benefits:.
    – Significantly less expensive than the ZAGGfolio
    – easier to open
    – to stay Seems
more safely shut away from the keyboard – .. . easier
insert the iPad into the sleeves – The iPad3 seems more certain in this case held
-. There is a pen holder! This is very important if you ever
a pen -. The keyboard is held in securely by strong magnets, but is much easier to remove from the housing
-. The USB port for charging the keyboard exposed while employed in the case, so you do not have to remove part of the keyboard to it
charge -. The iPad panel of the case has velcro on the bottom so away from the keyboard, you can get up on the iPad at any angle from vertical at a very low angle, for typing on the keyboard on the screen, if you want is. Unlike the Zagg, there are no fixed notches that you limit to 2 or so different stand angles. This continuous range of possible angles is very useful
    – .. While neither case is very good for the entry when placed on your lap, the KeyFolio is better than the Zagg
    – With the keyboard still inserted, the KeyFolio is comfortable to hold, when you fold the cover over to the iPad to use as a tablet. It’s not so much better, but it’s easier to avoid pressing his back resting on his hand. Since its easier to remove the keyboard, it is easier to change the use of the tablet as the keyboard without
-. The KeyFolio keyboard has brightness control keys, if not the Zagg. It also has a Caps Lock light may enter F1-F12, and has a few extra keys like Pause / Break. This can not roll for the iPad, but also makes the keyboard more useful if you always couple it with a Windows machine, device or something. This keyboard also has a separate Delete and Backspace and an Insert key
    KeyFolio problems:
    – show Unlike some photos, it does not seem to be a right. Way to turn the iPad to portrait mode while. Using the keyboard You can use the iPad, and they kind held by the bottom flap of the holder, but that did not keep
very safe -. Currently, I seem to be having some kind of problem where the left shift key is interfering with the Z key. If I try to give ZAGG Zagg because then I get. Whatever reason, Shift-Z essentially disables the shift key, even if you continue holding down the shift key (Press release the Shift hold again after typing Shift-Z, not resolve the problem with the right shift key.) The right shift key does not seem that problem with the adjacent keys have. I am not sure whether this shift Z thing is a design problem, or just a random manufacturing defect in my particular keyboard
-. This is low, but the command button is missing the small curly corner command key symbol – As people have mentioned, is the “new car smell” from the outgassing of the KeyFolio, right after you make it out of the box, pretty strong. I would expect that this way, if all the residue is evaporated and I plan to place it near an open window, with the keyboard removed and all exposed surfaces to accelerate this.
Now the ZAGGfolio. I type use this part. Here are the advantages over the KeyFolio
The overall design of the case is not as good, but it seems to be more durable and able to better protect the iPad. The keyboard is also a bit larger and seems solidly built
-. The hard plastic of the casing is thicker, harder and seems to offer more protection. The KeyFolio is not so bad, but the Zagg is more durable. Overall, the construction is more firmly
ZAGGfolio is -. The keys on the keyboard are higher than that. KeyFolio on keyboard The spacebar and modifier keys on the bottom row may also be 30% larger than the other keys. Overall, the keyboard is larger, but neither
one full-size keyboard -. The Zagg keyboard used … Read more

With only one previous review in a nutshell, I was skeptical, of course. It arrived today and I love it, given all the reasons the previous reviewer. I love stand-up function. I love detachable keyboard as I movable or external keyboards for all my devices, including laptops and HP Jornada (anyone remember that?) have. The keyboard is small, but has nice feel and functionality for my middle finger, maybe not for big fingers. Once the iPad is in the case, the Apple screen Smart Cover still attached (albeit from the lower edge). I’m protect OCD my screens because they are the things that can not replace you. And I’m obsessed thereof, with my equipment, especially protective measures those available. for example, I should the iPad be removed from the case, the best of all in my opinion, is its multi-functionality. case, keyboard and stand attractive looking black casing and a. ! very nice Kensington product
