WEme HDMI to VGA adapter provides effortless connections of your HDMI devices to a VGA input. This WEme HDMI to VGA adapter makes it easy to connect just about any device with an HDMI output to any computer monitor or TV with VGA input. You can also connect your laptop to a projector using this device if your laptop has an HDMI port built in. Using this I was able to connect my Roku 3 to my computer monitors VGA input, allowing me to use the roku3 in cases where I don’t have a TV. Now if you’ve got extra computer monitors laying around, they can pretty much be used as televisions with any of your devices with an HDMI output. This is a very handy device and it works exactly as described. It does not come with a double ended audio cable, so you will have to supply that yourself. This is a great item to have on hand if you have the need to connect a projector to your laptop for presentations, or to connect any other device to a VGA monitor when no TV is avilableI received this device at a discount in exchange for…

Good product, but doesn’t support devices that have hdcp copy protection. Can work with the right splitter though. Just bought this product and was looking to hook this up to my PSTV and computer monitor which only has VGA. Plugged it in and device didn’t work so I was a little bummed out. Tried plugging in the supplied usb cable thinking it might need more power… didn’t work. Went to the product page and sure enough it doesn’t support hdcp devices. Then I remembered I had a Sanoxy 1×2 hdmi splitter which basically strips the HDCP copy protection so I plugged my PSTV into the splitter and from the splitter I plugged in the weme in and from there plugged in the vga to my monitor and 3.5mm jack into my speakers and sure enough it worked like a charm. This item comes with what looks like a micro usb cable to supply extra power to the device but it wasn’t needed in my case. Device doesn’t come with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable unfortunately but I also had some of those laying around so it was no big deal. One thing I didn’t like was on the VGA side of the adapter wish the vga port was…
