I’m getting this for Christmas Sunday! One question, would this computer be good for Light Video Editing (Final Cut Pro 7), Photoshop, and Just browsing around on the web and listing to music?

PLEASE ANSWER! I BEG OF YOU! Hi, I have a quick question. I have a 2007 macbook and am really wanting to upgrade. I realize this is a new model that came out in October, with no new major processor upgrades. Is this just a minor upgrade, then there will be a major one sometime around March in 2012? Please answer me, I really need help. Thanks!

@applecritics Very well then !! I saw couple of people on youtube had their macbook pro messing up just because of heating issues and stuff. Also Apple wouldn’t know how to fix this problem that they had with macbook pro. Do you have any idea why would it mess with some people’s macbook pro ?

@Yung3G With my preliminary testing of this computer, I noticed that there is a prominent fan issue, which will lead to heat. The fans will be loud, and at times it sounds like a jet taking off. The fans are loud when recording a simple HD video in QuickTime X. Also, in other applications.Overlooking this issue, this still wouldn’t deter me from buying this machine.

@costarox77 It specifically depends on the uses of the computer. If you upgrade the RAM, it is useful for running multiple application simultaneously, or memory intensive applications.
