I met a few challenges, but finally with my Samsung ML-2510 on my home network that includes a Mac (OS 10.5.8), Windows 7 PC and a work PC to work with Windows XP. I received the hardware version 1.0 and the software on the CD gave me a critical error trying to install the PSAdmin tool (although, it did allow me to complete the server configuration). Go to […] and they have up-to-date installation files.
up the printer port for the MAC was a simple process to capture the static IP address. For the PC, I was able to connect to the printer / server and initiate, but nothing would print. what I found for the ML-2510, is that I was not with the Samsung Universal Print Driver (which I when connected by USB directly to your computer at work uses) I ended up downloading the desired printer driver from Samsung and all is well

I bought this my Samsung ML-2510 printer to the network of computers running Windows XP Link and Windows 7 OS, and they all communicated without problems. I opted for manual setup, but also explored the CD and found it installer-friendly. The print server is to touch cool. The box comes with a print server, a power supply, a CD and a thick manual Do not forget, a network cable, if one is not practical

I have my printer plugged into an Apple Airport Extreme – but the most recent updates for the AirPort Utility on the Mac, removing the possibility of printer do to manage the Airport devices clear that Apple is not interested in using printers on their devices – and would rather that, the people went out and bought new AirPrint compatible printers
I bought this -. expect a certain degree of complexity in setting up my Epson Stylus Photo R340 – but be prepared to put the effort in, to take control over my own.
Printers back in the standard configuration, the device uses a static IP address (192.168.0.10) – and this happened to an available address on my network to be, or so it seemed on the net and had to configure immediately available via http . (I skipped the whole “install the CD” steps – such as my network is mostly linux based)
It turned out that it did not need to configure much: -. I pointed my CUPS server on it, printed a test page, and it just worked.
Very happy impressed with how easy it works out of the box.
