This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android Phone, White 16GB (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)

The U.S. version of the phone, as it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1.5 GHz dual-core CPUs has, while the rest of the hardware specs the same as the international version.
I switched from an HTC EVO 4G to this phone and so far it’s been great! Here are the things I like about the phone:
    * The phone is a nice size, it is lighter than my HTC EVO 4G
    * The processor is one of the fastest U.S. release Android phone. , And it comes with 2 GB of RAM.
    * I played with the camera and video camera and the quality is very good in my opinion. (I’ll post a few photos or a video later.)
    * The ICS 4.0 is really fast and it’s applications opened quickly.
    * It comes with Google Wallet. I signed and got to use a free $ 10. (I have to test it to go to McDonalds!)
    * I only have the S Voice application a couple of times, but it seems like my wife Siri on iPhone 4S to be.
    * It comes with a micro SD slot if more space is needed to store images, videos, etc.
    * You can remove the battery if needed.
    * The battery life is twice as long in comparison to my HTC. EVO 4G

    Now for some cons: *
This is carrier related and not the phone itself, but the 4G LTE is not all in all areas so be sure to check your airline if internet speeds is a key factor for the purchase of this phone. If not, will be stuck with 3G speeds.
    * The phone is so beautiful that I do all the time baby!
I was on the fence about this phone or the HTC EVO 4G LTE aka HTC One X. The main things I like about the Samsung Galaxy 3 on the HTC EVO 4G LTE is that with the micro SD card slot and the battery can be replaced if it is always bad.

    I love this phone! 🙂

This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android Phone, White 16GB (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)

    Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB White,
    I
Verizon Motorola Droid upgraded from a 2 to the S3 and am completely satisfied with the S3. The large 4.8-inch AMOLED screen is beautiful and it fits perfectly in my palm. Resolution is exceptionally , words can not describe.
I can on the one hand / thumb use to do most of the work and feel that the S3 would be even greater to have no comfort. I’d say a 5.5-inch screen would be would be the highest I. The problem arises when a holster. As a man, I have a hard time just putting a phone in my pocket, because my pockets for keys, pens, and my wallet that could scratch easily / can damage the phone, when to use them for. I do not always have a backpack or a pack on hand, so for me a holster leaves the only logical method of carrying a phone. The Otterbox Defender is by far the best case / holster I’ve found for the S3. Unfortunately, with the Defender, feels the S3, as I’m lugging around a Texas Instruments graphing calculator on my belt. If someone, it’s like I’m calling in an airstrike. However never uncomfortable to use. Even for such a great phone, I do not find myself too tired to call if that long. The sound quality on the phone is exceptional and there are several equalizer / sound settings to enhance the audio quality
T9 choice is perfect -. I never understood why my Droid 2 does not have this feature, but T9 is a time saver The text input and swiping keyboard takes some getting used to at first, but it works pretty well for an integrated function.. The voice-to-text input is not bad, but there are some strange errors from time to time.
S Voice is essentially Samsung’s version of Siri, though Siri started as an independent app specifically for the iPhone and Android before Apple picked it up and crushed the Android project. S Voice is linked to Wolfram Alpha, and I find that even though it is innovative, it is more of a gimmick. I find the weather info much faster with the browser / weather app and the 4G LTE network than waiting for “Galaxy” to answer to my question.
S beam at first interesting, but a CO-worker (who also bought a S3) and I played
to this, and we agree, it is essentially a local peer-to-peer network, not unlike Bluetooth or WiFi-based LAN. It is definitely innovative, but I do not think it is essential. The battery life could be better by the rather large 2.1-Ah battery. I could to 3.5 days (3 days, 12 hours and change) of 1 charge receive. My daily usage pattern auto brightness, 4G LTE and plane- mode at night, with occasional surfing / usage during the day
. Mechanical home button feels antiquated and out of place. I never understood why Apple uses, and I do not understand his place on the S3 . it would have a capacitive display key as the Menu and Back buttons on the S3. However chose Samsung for the softkeys “disappear” when not backlit, which is annoying. I refer to the Droid 2, where the soft keys all in the ad were to be etched. LED indicator on the S3 is also steamed and is visible only when illuminated. When fully charged, the LED is green, but it’s not strong enough to take care of me when I sleep. It is a soft and muted glow. When a new e-mail or a new text message is flashing, blue. When it loads, it turns red.
The front and rear camera quality is exceptional. The front is a 1.9 MP camera that produces nice video during video conferences. The rear camera is the same camera they used on the iPhone 4S and has burst mode and really has had zero. flash is very bright and has a white color (near 6000K or so) as opposed to my Droid 2, which was more yellow (about 3000K-4000K). Picture quality is really good, especially for a smartphone.
The Samsung S3 does not come with a micro SDHC card, so I bought the 10th micro SDHC card. Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) works differently than Gingerbread with the respect that all applications are stored on the internal phone memory, the SanDisk 32GB Class This means that all applications are available from the 16GB “SDcard” and do not run your external SD card. When I use the 32GB SanDisk Micro SD card is inserted, appeared a new folder up “ExtSDCard”, the SD on the actual external Map shows. Fortunately, the camera app notice it and ask for all photos / videos on the external SD card to store. the apps and associated files remain on the internal 16 GB memory.
I ran the AnTuTu benchmark and got a score of 6885, which was operated without a power-saving mode and the dual-core CPU was 1512 MHz. When I activate Power Saver was my score 5221 with a CPU speed of 1026 MHz. As you can see, is the score with Power Saver is still very respectable. External SD card read speed of more than 50 MB / s, while the write speed was about 29.7 MB / s max., the S3 has a lot of computing power, and it is my Core 2 Duo laptop … Read more

This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android Phone, White 16GB (Verizon Wireless) (Wireless Phone)

First, I begin by saying that I have an iphone want since inception of the year starting in 2007, I have always loved my disappointed iphone and I bought every generation of IT, including the iphone 4s. Slowly I got bored with the iPhone when I saw what with iOS 6 next I was because I know where to go to really cool things that do the OS would introduce thought. then I saw the keynote of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I was blown away. I thought this is what the iPhone 5 be.
Landete should I sell my iPhone and bought a galaxy for me, my wife and my son. We love the phone. We have the phone for over 1 month and its amazing. The screen is awesome, the service life Battery is very good for me, they take me most of the day., the fact is that I swap the battery size. I’ve used other Android phones in the past and they suck, just works this time with Ice Cream Sandwich. If You are looking for a change than it is.
After looking at the photos of what will be the iPhone 5, as I feel made the right choice. I do not want a phone that is only more should be wider, it must at least a 4.3-apple screen have.
The only complaint I have about this phone is that when I start a holster it hot. Most Android phones do, and I think the real me because since it is the multitasking apps running all the time, unlike the iPhone, where apps are stopped.
I can tell you that I do things phone that the iPhone is not possible. The I was always alone on the fence. Finally, this model has 16GB on board, and I was able to buy a microSD card to 64GB, now I have 80gb. I love that storage is expandable.
